In Hindi, you can tell time using a combination of numbers and specific words. Here are some key phrases to help you tell time in Hindi: To ask "What time is it?" you can say: "समय क्या हुआ है?" (Samay kya hua hai?) To state the time, use numbers from 1 to 12 for the hours followed by "बजे" (baje) which means "o'clock." For example: 1:00 would be "एक बजे" (Ek baje) 6:30 would be "छह बजे तीस मिनट" (Chhah baje tees minut) To express minutes past the hour, add the number of minutes followed by "मिनट" (minat). For example: 2:15 would be "दो बजे पंद्रह मिनट" (Do baje pandrah minut) To express minutes before the hour, you can use the word "के" (ke) before the number of minutes. For example: 10:40 would be "दस बजे के चालीस मिनट" (Das baje ke chaalis minut) Remember that Hindi uses a 12-hour clock, so you may need to specify "सुबह" (subah) for morning, "दोपहर" (dopahar) for afternoon, "शाम" (shaam) for evening, or "रात" (raat) for night to avoid confusion between AM and PM. read less
